I walked in and was greeted immediately and assisted with getting registered. The process was fast and easy and was being examined by a doctor less than 30 minutes. The doctor, nurse and staff were all extremely nice, efficient and professional. I can certainly recommend this Emergency Care center.

Stopped in with 102 fever. That’s all. Was exposed to flu A 2 days prior. They simply swabbed my nose, did one chest xray, which I did not want or need, and the dr listened to my lungs and said go home. We’ll call you with the nose swab results. Sent me home with 5 rxs. I tested negative for everything. But 2 wks later, I received a bill for $4,880!!! I’m an RN. I know how ridiculous health care costs are. But almost $5,000 for a nose swab and chest xray???? That is not reasonable NOR acceptable! My mistake was going there. Should’ve gone to an urgent care. This one was simply close. Lesson learned and complaint filed! Oh….and yesterday I received another bill for over $900 for that same visit!🤯😡This may be a KPRC Local 2 Investigates call.

I took my mother to the Houston Methodist ER and was very impressed with the visit. All staff was very friendly especially our nurse Melissa and Dr. Knight. He was so thorough and knowledgeable and spoke Spanish with my mother. We felt very comfortable and cared for. They did an X-ray and cat scan in house and we had results back in less than an hour. Would definitely go back if I ever need emergency care again.

Dr. Casper was amazing. He explained step by step what procedures where being followed and I was quickly assessed and given medication. He followed up with explanations and provided educational information for my condition. Nurse Rebecca and the entire team works together to provide the best care available. 5 out of 5 stars in my book.

Don't bother coming here, you might as well just go the the actual hospital. The care is marginal and the bill is ridiculous for what they actually do. I came in with a concussion and on top of the X-ray bills they billed 1400 for the doctor talking to me for less than 15 minutes. They never bothered to evaluate my other cuts and bruises, they didn't make any assessment of the degree of typical concussion symptoms like my balance or possible memory loss, and the NP incorrectly told me I could take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. In all I was with any staff for less than 30 minutes. As I was leaving a nurse told me, "if you start throwing up, go to the real ER". 2 days later I got an automated email from Methodist on how to care for my concussion in the first 24 hours. I hate that Methodist essentially gets a blank check the moment you walk in the door. Update: 5 months later I got another bill of $771 for the CAT scan from radiology in addition to the 5000 cat scan claim from Methodist. I called and they told me that when you go in to Methodist, they can't possibly tell you in advance what they will bill for radiology because they have to determine the level of care. So desp
